A government authority in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive food management services. The selected provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality food service operations that meet established nutritional and health standards. Auditing capabilities must be in place to ensure compliance with these standards throughout the duration of the contract.
The program must be operated in a cost-effective manner and require the implementation of a written food service plan, which includes clear objectives, well-defined policies and procedures, and annual evaluations to assess compliance. Additionally, any detainees involved in the preparation of food must undergo and pass an agency-approved pre-assignment screening process to ensure they are free from illnesses transmittable by food or utensils.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 7, 2026. All prospective bidders are required to submit their questions regarding the RFP no later than April 14, 2026.
