DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Lockport, New York is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive food management services. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering three meals per day—two of which, breakfast and lunch, must be hot—every day of the week, along with sack lunches for individuals who need them (such as those attending court).
All meals must be prepared fresh daily using an individual tray system, with the exception of kosher meals, which may be frozen and sealed for religious reasons. Meals must meet specific nutritional standards, ensuring appropriate levels of nutrients and calories for all recipients, with no more than fifteen hours between dinner and breakfast. Vendors are also expected to outline their policies for serving special holiday meals in their proposal.
The contract will run for two years. A mandatory pre-bid inspection will be held on May 5, 2026, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by May 8, 2026. Meal scheduling and related logistics will be coordinated with Sheriff’s Office personnel.
