DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide strategic and action planning services for an urban farm project focused on food literacy in Sacramento, New York. Responsibilities include comprehensive community engagement services such as pre-engagement activities, project management, coordination of meetings, scheduling assistance, cohort management, contract administration for cohorts, quality control, public relations, public outreach, and thorough project documentation. Vendors will also be tasked with data collection, analysis, and evaluation support for the overall project.

A crucial part of the scope is developing an evaluation report on community-defined, evidence-based best practices for effective community engagement. The project also requires establishing a project charter, governance structure, and decision-making process alongside the project team. The vendor will work closely with the Food Literacy Center, leading data analysis and research efforts, co-developing data collection instruments, and supporting all evaluation processes throughout the duration of the project. The contract period is set for one year and includes mandatory participation in a pre-proposal meeting.
