DESCRIPTION
This RFI seeks vendors to provide a comprehensive food and nutrition management solution for facilities in Louisiana, supporting standardized menu planning, recipe management, inventory control, nutrition compliance, and detailed reporting. The system should enable healthy diets, caloric and allergen compliance, tracking of resident dietary preferences, and scaling of recipes for various production volumes.
Key features include perpetual and just-in-time inventory methods, vendor order management, price comparison, cost tracking, requisition tracking across multiple locations, order reconciliation, and discrepancy reporting. The solution must merge master data across facilities, deliver centralized dashboards and roll-up reporting, support SSO, centralized administration, managed service hosting, and diet order management with automated tray ticket generation.
Additional requirements include highly configurable reporting (PDF, Excel, HTML), forecasting and analytics dashboards for cost, waste, and purchasing variances, robust HIPAA/PHI handling for health system integration, encryption, backup, and security controls, as well as compliance for payment processing and vendor-hosted environments.
