Texas is seeking vendors capable of supplying flood early warning system products and related services to eligible customers. The requirements include a comprehensive range of flood monitoring and alert equipment such as gauges, sensors, Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs), Acoustic Doppler Velocity Meters (ADVMs), cameras, sirens, flashing lights, barrier gate systems, and float switches.
Vendors should also provide supporting software solutions for data analysis and modeling, which may include telemetry systems, emergency notification systems software, sensor reading software, GIS/mapping software, and hydrologic models. The goal is to deliver technology solutions that enhance flood preparedness and response capabilities throughout the region.
