SUMMARY

NAVAIR is seeking integration of the FMF Application software into the T-45 Mission Computer Alternative under a sole-source contract with Rockwell Collins, Inc., including data integration and coverage analysis.

DESCRIPTION

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), based in Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to negotiate and award a delivery order for the provision and integration of the Flight Management Function Application (FMF App) Software. This software will be configured for compatibility with the T-45 Mission Computer Alternative (MCA) to resolve current deficiencies within the FMF App, leveraging solutions from the contractor’s commercial software line.

The integrated FMF App will receive positional data inputs from the T-45 MCA, transmit navigational data outputs to the primary flight display vehicle interface, and perform structural coverage analysis. This action is being pursued on a sole-source basis under applicable federal procurement statutes, as Rockwell Collins, Inc. is the original developer and the sole holder of data rights necessary for modification, development, and ongoing support of the system. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact Rockwell Collins, Inc. directly.
