DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Arkansas is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive Flight Information Display System (FIDS) for its airport facilities. The objective is to implement a modern FIDS that enhances real-time communication of operational information to passengers, airlines, and staff. The solution must function as a robust content management system (CMS) for all flight and airport-related visual messaging, supporting dynamic content, efficient dissemination of live flight data, and seamless integration with existing airport technologies.

The FIDS should be managed via an on-premises or cloud-based platform, offering a user-friendly web-enabled interface for data management and application control. The system must display flight, baggage, counter, gate, ramp, visual paging, and other essential information across multiple displays throughout the airport. It should allow authorized users to manage, push, and monitor content from a single interface, support content zoning for targeted display, and facilitate simultaneous identical gate information displays at multiple locations. The solution should also accommodate user-generated content, dynamic video and static graphic advertising, and web content. A pre-response meeting and optional site tour are scheduled, with questions due by March 9, 2026.
