DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Washington, DC seeks a vendor to provide innovative flight dynamics and navigation technology solutions. The scope includes advancements in autonomous navigation and maneuvering technologies that minimize reliance on Earth-based tracking, orbit determination, and maneuver planning operations. Vendors are expected to offer integration of autonomous guidance and navigation algorithms into onboard planning and scheduling.

The project includes designing guidance algorithms that model low-thrust propulsion in a multi-body dynamical environment, such as small-body exploration. Additionally, proposals should address improvements in time estimation using onboard clock and observable processing algorithms to support spacecraft precision Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT).
