DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Missouri seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive fleet-wide, 5G-enabled mobile connectivity solution. The scope includes delivering 5G-capable mobile broadband with LTE fallback on a fleet of 231 buses. Vendors must supply unlimited data cellular service featuring static public IPv4 addresses for each router and installation of network equipment, including routers, expansion docks, antennas, and cable harnesses.

The solution requires network cellular routers, specifically the CradlePoint R1900Router with RX30PoE expansion dock, or an agency-approved equivalent, offering at least seven available Ethernet ports per bus, robust 5G cellular connectivity, and a centralized web-based management platform. Management and licensing software, such as CradlePoint NetCloud or an approved equal, should be provided with a minimum of three years of licensing and maintenance included for each router. Additionally, configuration of APN, static IP, firewall policies, NAT, VLANs, DHCP scopes, and port assignments must comply with agency network requirements.

Vehicle antennas must be compatible with the proposed router and able to support 5G cellular service. The cellular service should cover all 231 routers, with unlimited data, static IPs, and centralized account management. Vendors are asked to submit related questions by March 9, 2026.
