DESCRIPTION
This RFP seeks a vendor to provide a flexible and scalable firewall solution with comprehensive protection for both on-premises and cloud-based resources in Ireland. The solution must offer unified security, delivering high performance, advanced threat detection and response, as well as extensive traffic and protocol analysis. The selected system should be capable of detecting anomalies, insider threats, suspicious activities, and malware, with robust blocking capabilities for threats such as ransomware, viruses, worms, trojans, and adware.
Additionally, the solution is expected to support intrusion prevention, anti-malware features, and VPN functionality, including IPSEC VPN tunnels and VPN clients. Application control, encrypted traffic inspection and visibility, decryption capabilities, and strong firewall throughput are also required for effective protection. The goal is to ensure comprehensive network security across all environments while maintaining optimal performance and visibility.
