DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide financial statement compilation services. The selected firm must deploy qualified personnel to complete the compilation and gain an understanding of the Centre's financial activities. Responsibilities include preparing accounting entries to convert the Centre's financial activity from cash basis to accrual basis accounting.

The vendor is required to deliver annual financial statements that adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as set forth by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. These statements will be integrated as a component unit in the agency's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Furthermore, the financial statements must comply with Governmental Accounting Standards Board formatting for submission to the Center, Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet, Finance and Administration Cabinet, and the Auditor of Public Accounts. The contract is for one year.
