Financial Reporting Software

The agency seeks a vendor to provide an integrated financial reporting and publishing software solution. The system must support full document development, encompassing introductory, financial, and statistical content, as well as the production of overlay graphics, narrative text, tables, and footnote disclosures. It should operate within a desktop publishing environment and enable the seamless import and integration of Microsoft Excel files, PDF files, images, and other content types.

A secure, one-way interface with the agency's SAP system is required, or vendors may propose an alternative scheduled data upload/extract method if direct integration is not feasible. The software should support the import of the agency’s chart of accounts and historical trial balance data for real-time or near real-time reporting. Real-time editing, commenting, approval workflows, and version control must be included, along with audit logs tracking all user activity and document changes.

The solution should be optimized for large documents (such as 300+ pages) and high-volume data, able to handle extensive datasets and graphic elements with robust performance. The interface must be user-friendly and suitable for non-technical users, with built-in tools enhancing document formatting, readability, and design. Workflow features should include comment tracking, approval routing, and automated notifications. Comprehensive data cleansing and validation functions are required to ensure accurate mapping and reporting.
