DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking a vendor to provide integrated financial management and support broker services to implement the community support waiver program. The selected vendor will be responsible for assisting self-directing participants with payroll, reimbursements, and other financial transactions, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local labor and employment laws regarding taxes, insurance, and payroll. Duties also include verifying provider qualifications through required background checks, executing provider agreements with participants’ hired staff, facilitating electronic visit verification (EVV), processing payroll for participant staff members, filing quarterly taxes and reports, and maintaining workers’ compensation insurance.

Support broker services are required, including guidance for participants in developing person-centered spending plans based on authorized budgets. Vendors should propose options for both in-person and online consultations.
