DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Williamstown, New Jersey is seeking a qualified firm to provide financial advisory services for its board of education. The selected firm will be responsible for collaborating with the board’s bond counsel to recommend the size, structure, and terms of debt issues, as well as assisting in the preparation of official statement texts as required for bond offerings.
The advisor will manage the entire bond sale process, aid in the preparation and presentation during the opening of the public bond sale, and provide recommendations during the proceedings. Following the sale, the firm will prepare actual debt service tables reflecting coupon rates. The contract for these services is intended to cover a one-year period.
