A government authority in Detroit, Michigan seeks a vendor to provide fill material removal and replacement services. The selected contractor will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of a safety barrier whenever a material pile or excavation exceeding three feet in depth is left unattended on any assigned site. The safety barrier must be four feet tall, constructed of orange high–density polyethylene mesh material (1.75" x 1.75" mesh), comparable to the Tenex Guardian Warning Barrier, and secured with durable cable ties at four evenly spaced points along each stake.
All fill materials and debris, including any materials that were illegally dumped onsite prior to or during excavation or fill removal, will become the property of the contractor, who is then responsible for proper removal, transport, and disposal. The service contract will have a duration of one year.
