Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive fiber project services. The engagement will include both development and design phases. During the development phase, vendors are expected to conduct preliminary field work such as equipment surveys, routing assessments of existing wiring, inventory or verification of existing signal control equipment, and a thorough analysis of current communication networks—especially integration with the existing Zone 12 network to ensure system compatibility and redundancy. Close coordination with the city's Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) department is required to identify proposed connection points to the metropolitan area network and to develop appropriate IP network and subnetwork schemes for the new system.
In the design phase, the selected vendor will prepare complete bid documents, including plans, specifications, and a construction cost estimate. The vendor will also finalize the routing of fiber optic cables to all project intersections, detailing cable pathways into city-owned facilities and up to technology closets. The project contract will span two years, with all project-related questions due by April 13, 2026.
