DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive fiber optic cable purchase and installation services for a government authority in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Scope of work includes supplying and installing wall-mounted racks and shelves to support switches and fiber rack enclosures, along with the installation of 12-port patch panels and rack-mounted fiber panels. The contractor will also install one fiber enclosure in a dispatch room.
All necessary connections are to be included, such as fan-out kits for fiber ends, adapter panels for fiber bulkheads, fiber connectors, splice connectors, and cable supports. The installation requires all fiber to be properly terminated, labeled, and tested to ensure reliable network performance. The provider is expected to deliver a turnkey solution inclusive of all related materials and labor.
