DESCRIPTION


The agency is seeking a vendor to provide a SaaS-based Fiber Management Software (FMS) solution that streamlines the planning, deployment, and management of its fiber optic networks. The chosen platform should offer a comprehensive, turn-key solution supporting agency IT network and communications staff in managing and maintaining the communications infrastructure in both office and field environments.

Key functional requirements include fiber documentation and inventory management, GIS and network mapping integration, workflow and change management, and capacity planning with utilization tracking. The software must also support integration with external systems, robust security and access controls, mobile and field operations, reporting and analytics, scalability, cloud support, and features such as AI-driven predictive maintenance.
