The desired solution must include a fare payment platform with both a mobile application and a customer web portal, allowing users to register and manage accounts through their preferred channel. The mobile app must be available for both Android and iOS devices, supporting the two most recent major operating system versions.
Security is a critical requirement, including encryption of all data transferred between application servers and database services. The system must provide session management features, allowing explicit user logout and enforcing automatic session timeouts configurable by administrators. Detailed audit capabilities are necessary, ensuring the ability to track what was changed within the system, by whom, and when, with vendors expected to describe their solution's auditing functionality.
This project aims to enhance fare payment processes, provide a secure user experience, and maintain rigorous accountability through comprehensive auditing.
