DESCRIPTION


The government authority located in Aurora, Colorado seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive family engagement services. These services include adult education, workforce development and job placement support, digital and financial literacy instruction, parenting education, social–emotional learning, leadership development, and programming that empowers families, encourages lifelong learning, and supports stronger school–family partnerships.

Key components of programming should aim to strengthen families’ ability to support student learning, promote overall family well-being, and foster meaningful engagement between families and schools. Required offerings include English as a Second Language (ESL), GED or other adult education opportunities, workforce readiness and job placement assistance, and social-emotional and family wellness support. Vendors must also coordinate with school and district staff to align initiatives with district priorities and effectively recruit participating families.

Programs should be accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the linguistic, cultural, and socioeconomic diversity of the local community. The chosen provider is expected to offer language support where possible and to schedule activities at times that facilitate family participation. The contract period will be for one year.
