The agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive ticketing system for its annual fair in Colorado. The selected provider will be responsible for managing admission ticket sales, ensuring a secure and streamlined experience for attendees. The ticketing system must accommodate online sales, in-person sales at the Parks office, and mobile access for purchasing and presenting tickets.
Online ticket sales will commence in early summer, several weeks prior to the event, and must support multiple ticket types including general admission, VIP, and specialty tickets. The online platform should be optimized for both desktop and mobile users, enabling customers to easily purchase and access tickets. In-person sales will be facilitated through a dedicated point of sale station at the Parks office, with the provider supplying all necessary hardware such as ticket printers, scanners, and point-of-sale terminals.
Mobile ticketing functionality is required, allowing customers to both purchase and display tickets on their smartphones or tablets, with QR or bar code capabilities for entry. During the fair, the provider will handle on-site ticketing needs, including the setup and management of entry and scanning systems. This will involve deploying handheld and pedestal scanners at entry points, and setting up printers for on-demand physical ticket printing as required. Staffing and managing ticket scanning at event entrances is also part of the provider's responsibilities.
