Facility Master Plan Service

The government authority in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive facility master plan services. The selected team will engage directly with building tenants to conduct programming exercises and surveys, identifying space planning needs and making recommendations for more efficient use of occupied areas. Working alongside the operations group, the team is expected to analyze the building lobby and suggest potential upgrades to pedestrian traffic flow.

Deliverables include precise building floor plans in both hard copy and CAD formats, square footage calculations of all areas, and summary reports of space occupied by major tenants. The contractor will provide recommendations for creating or relocating building services such as food options, vending areas, wellness rooms, and exercise facilities, along with suggestions for additional amenities. The project also encompasses assessments and recommendations related to environmental issues, security improvements through technology and procedures, wayfinding enhancements, signage optimization, and detailed landscaping improvement plans. The contract period will be one year and includes opportunities for a pre-bid meeting and submission of questions prior to selection.
