DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Maine is seeking facility management support services to ensure 24-hour, full-time personnel coverage from Monday to Friday throughout the year. Responsibilities include manning the front gate office during watch hours, controlling facility access, and monitoring security cameras as directed by the Facility Security Officer for any security breaches.

The contractor will perform regular safety and security rounds, monitor the fire detection system, manage identification badging for visitors and employees, maintain and update the daily personnel list, and provide security escorting for tours and events. Additional tasks involve directing traffic within the terminal boundaries, responding to inquiries, processing mail deliveries, and escorting truck drivers as needed.

Required competencies for all staff include knowledge of techniques to circumvent security measures, crowd management, emergency procedures, security-related communication, operation and maintenance of security equipment, and inspection and monitoring techniques.
