SUMMARY

Seeking firms for facility condition assessment and needs analysis of municipal buildings in Dayton, Oregon.

DESCRIPTION

The City of Dayton, Oregon is seeking qualified architectural, engineering, planning, or owner’s representative firms to provide facility conditions assessment and needs analysis services for its municipal building facilities. The selected firm will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within city buildings. This will include evaluating facility conditions, estimating remaining useful life, assessing capacity and efficiency, and reviewing code compliance such as seismic and accessibility considerations. Major deficiencies and capital improvement requirements are to be identified as part of this process.

In addition, the project will require a facility needs analysis, programming, and conceptual design. The successful firm will work with the city to identify current and future space requirements, adjacencies, and functional needs, taking into account staffing levels, public interaction, and projected growth. A high-level, phased implementation plan is expected to address long-term agency hall needs and to help inform future development decisions.
