A consultant is sought to provide professional services in facilitation, policy development, and community outreach for early childhood funding initiatives in Colorado. The selected consultant will collaborate closely with First Impressions of the agency to lead facilitation activities for the Early Childhood Council, develop policies, and engage the community in meaningful discussions and planning regarding sustainable funding strategies and potential ballot measures.
Key responsibilities include offering strategic guidance, structured facilitation, and policy expertise to support a transparent and informed process. The consultant will act as lead facilitator and project coordinator for steering committee and stakeholder engagements, guiding the initiative from early-stage conversations through to consensus on funding priorities, policy directions, and governance structures.
Additionally, the consultant will assist in drafting policy recommendations and potential ballot language that are data-driven, feasible, and aligned with community interests. The engagement process should be inclusive and transparent, ensuring participation from all segments of the community. Project management duties include maintaining the project timeline, budget, and responsiveness to stakeholder needs.
