An Ontario museum is seeking a qualified consultant to facilitate the development of its four-year strategic plan for 2027–2030. The consultant will lead a process that assesses and documents current and alternative approaches related to space utilization, programming, exhibits, events, collections, membership, partnerships, revenue development, marketing, outreach, and volunteer engagement.
Key responsibilities include designing and managing a comprehensive strategic planning process, conducting both organizational and environmental assessments, and facilitating an environmental scan to evaluate internal capacity, external trends, risks, and opportunities. The project will require inclusive stakeholder engagement, ensuring that diverse community voices inform strategic goals and priorities.
The consultant is expected to deliver a detailed project plan with clear phases, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, as well as develop an actionable strategic plan that aligns financial and operational resources with sustainability and community needs. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by January 20, 2026.
