DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will be responsible for installing a comprehensive compliance software management system, providing training for users on all aspects of the system, and delivering ongoing maintenance and technical support. The scope of work includes assessing and identifying risks within the compliance program, documenting gaps, and generating prioritized work plans and timelines based on risk assessments.

Additional responsibilities involve monitoring and updating compliance with evolving health care industry practices and governmental regulations, implementing policies and procedures such as codes of conduct, and supporting relevant compliance training and education. The vendor must also manage a 24-hour compliance hotline, respond to detected compliance incidents, and implement internal monitoring, auditing, and measurement protocols.

The software must be capable of generating monthly federal and state exclusion lists for health care providers, business associates, and vendors, as well as supporting contract management compliance monitoring. It should facilitate independent report generation, including executive summaries for governance, and maintain archival access to all compliance program work products even after the software system expires.
