The Wyoming Fairgrounds is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive event setup and support services. The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects of site preparation, venue construction, and ongoing support related to fairground events.
Duties include removing fair items and equipment from storage, staging and organizing event materials, and performing maintenance or minor repairs as needed. Equipment to be managed includes tables, chairs, picnic tables, flags, banners, umbrellas, parking signs, and metal posts. The contractor will assist Fairgrounds staff with Exhibit Hall setup and will also transport and install displays—such as quilt racks, wood blocks, LEGO cages, and shelving—according to established floor plans. Additional responsibilities include hanging lights, arranging exhibits, and setting up essential event infrastructure like tables, chairs, and fans.
The contract period for these services will be one year. This opportunity is intended for qualified construction contractors with experience in event logistics, equipment handling, and on-call support for public venues.
