The government authority in Illinois is seeking vendors to provide ethernet transport services that ensure high-performance and reliable point-to-point connectivity between state offices and the ICN Points of Presence (POPs). The required ethernet transport services must demonstrate 99.98% or better availability, measured over a 30-day period, and must guarantee synchronous bandwidth across all connections.
The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining service uptime 24/7, every day of the year, with a maximum one-way delay of 18 milliseconds and jitter not exceeding 12 milliseconds. Additionally, the vendor must proactively monitor all network connections and respond promptly to any issues that could adversely affect connectivity.
Ongoing maintenance and oversight of these connections are essential to minimize downtime and ensure constant performance as specified in the service parameters.
