DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Valdosta, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide ethernet network services. The project requires the establishment of WAN connections between multiple campus locations, with the condition that these connections may not traverse the public internet and should use only central office or meet point connectivity.

The selected provider must utilize layer 2 switching to interconnect campuses, ensuring bandwidth meets the specifications provided. All circuits must be synchronous with unique identification numbers and be associated with a unique customer number for the college. The vendor is also expected to deliver diverse path services, redundant network capabilities, and multiple pathways for enhanced reliability.

A critical requirement is dedicated 24x7x365 technical support via a Network Operations Center, with support consistently available by phone. All connections will use the same support number for reporting service outages. The initial contract period will be one year.
