DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Kamloops, British Columbia seeks a qualified vendor to provide a range of environmental services to support its engineering program, particularly in relation to bridge and culvert replacement projects. The selected firm will be responsible for identifying risks to the aquatic environment and offering recommendations to safeguard the values at risk in connection with these infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include developing environmental management plans for stream crossing projects, preparing and submitting applications for work approvals within wetted perimeters or outside standard in-stream work windows as needed, conducting fish surveys, and providing ongoing environmental monitoring. The scope of work encompasses project initiation, background information gathering and assessment, field investigations as appropriate, and comprehensive reporting on environmental management, monitoring, and stream assessment. Additional deliverables include erosion and sediment control plans as well as action plans for proponents.
