DESCRIPTION
A government authority in New Bedford, Massachusetts is seeking environmental professional services to manage and oversee the brownfield revolving loan fund program. The successful vendor will provide on-call management of the revolving loan fund, which includes oversight of site remediation projects financed through subgrants and loans.
Responsibilities include coordinating and providing direction for project site activities, particularly those involving hazardous building material abatement. The selected professional will review analyses of clean-up alternatives, remediation plans, quality assurance project plans, health and safety protocols, community relations strategies, and progress reports. Additionally, the vendor will evaluate requests for loan drawdowns submitted by applicants and review final clean-up completion reports before submitting required documentation to the EPA.
