DESCRIPTION


Colusa County is seeking a qualified consultant to provide professional environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance services for County-operated solid waste and airport facilities. The selected firm will be responsible for a range of monitoring activities including groundwater, landfill gas, stormwater, soil gas, and surface water at landfill sites. The scope includes coordination and execution of sampling events, data analysis, and thorough documentation through the preparation and submission of required technical monitoring and regulatory reports.

The consultant will support ongoing environmental compliance for landfill and stormwater monitoring programs, including compliance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. Additional duties may include responding to regulatory inquiries, participating in inspections and meetings, making technical recommendations, and providing corrective and preventative action plans as needed. The consultant may also be tasked with supporting the County’s Stormwater Management Program, implementing best management practices, maintaining compliance documentation, preparing monitoring plans, and managing laboratory coordination for analysis and reporting.
