An Arizona county is seeking qualified providers of environmental engineering services to support its regulatory, compliance, and environmental management obligations over a four-year contract period.
The selected firm will deliver professional consulting and engineering support on an as-needed basis. Services will include assisting with planning, design, permitting, compliance, and the implementation of various environmental projects. The contractor will also be expected to prepare technical reports, studies, documentation, and presentations that align with regulatory and project requirements.
Additional responsibilities involve preparing and processing environmental permits, reviewing permits for regulatory compliance, and conducting inspections, compliance audits, and investigations of regulated facilities such as water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities. All work must comply with relevant county, state, and federal regulations, including those related to subdivision, water quality, aquifer protection, and applicable construction or health codes.
