DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking an experienced vendor to provide comprehensive environmental consulting services. The selected firm will offer technical reviews and professional advice from the perspective of a future property owner, primarily regarding the establishment of cleanup levels for contaminated properties, the necessary extent of cleanup, transfer phasing strategies, and the development of land use controls and restrictions concerning future property reuse.

Responsibilities include analyzing environmental concerns unique to each redevelopment parcel, monitoring the implementation and progress of all remediation and mitigation activities for lands designated for transfer, and reviewing environmental documentation associated with potential transfer parcels. This includes evaluating constraints and parameters affecting future reuse planning. The vendor will also assist in coordinating with environmental legal counsel to understand frameworks of environmental liability under state and federal regulations, and provide technical review support for property transfer documentation.
