A vendor is sought to develop and implement a comprehensive program aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and facilitating business expansion in New York. The program should serve as a centralized entry point for the entrepreneurial community, efficiently screening and directing entrepreneurs to the resources and assistance best suited to their needs. Key program components include providing mentorship, facilitating educational and networking opportunities, and hosting small-scale events such as pitch contests, collaboration sessions with industry leaders, and partner-driven gatherings with relevant organizations.
The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting outreach to recruit experienced mentors and engaging entrepreneurs at various stages. This includes organizing mentorship sessions, tracking and reporting outcomes, and fostering connections within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, the program should encompass the development of an annual communications strategy to attract and engage both entrepreneurs and investors, as well as catalog existing entrepreneurship resources and document relevant activities such as events, referrals, and mentor sessions. Proposers are expected to outline their recommended approach to reporting and to establish clear metrics for measuring program success. The initial contract period will be for one year.
