An Ontario university is seeking a comprehensive enterprise-wide performance management platform to enhance the institution's financial data capabilities, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The platform should deliver more timely and strategic financial information, supporting the university's goals of transparency, collaboration, scalability, and ease of configuration across various departments and units.
The required solution must align with strategic priorities such as student success, financial sustainability, and overall institutional performance. Key functionalities include multi-scenario, what-if, and driver-based forecasting, as well as support for university-wide and departmental budgeting, rolling forecasts, and both 24-month and multi-year strategic planning cycles. The system should integrate both financial and non-financial data, such as enrolment and operational metrics, and include configurable workflows for approvals, revisions, and version control. Additional requirements include capabilities for managing budget hierarchies, generating forecast templates, conducting variance analyses, and automating financial close and consolidation processes across multiple entities. Furthermore, the platform should accommodate multi-GAAP, multi-currency, and intercompany elimination needs.
