The government authority in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive enterprise-wide IPTV system replacement services. The scope of work includes the design, furnishing, installation, configuration, and ongoing support of a new IPTV system to replace the existing Spectrum cable box distribution system.
Responsibilities include conducting on-site or remote evaluations to validate network readiness and producing a full IPTV system design. The design should address multicast behavior, VLAN structure, ingest topology, encryption, and endpoint architecture. The vendor will be responsible for complete rack and stack implementation, wiring, labeling, configuration, and commissioning services, with support for Spectrum Streaming Services ingestion via Spectrum Fiber.
Additional technical requirements include enabling IGMP snooping (v2/v3) control within a single VLAN and providing QoS recommendations for optimal video traffic performance. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by April 15, 2026.
