The government authority in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide enterprise technology assessment and modernization planning services. Vendors will assess application architecture and system resilience, including application tiering, system dependencies, disaster recovery capabilities, and operational resilience with emphasis on Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). The project also requires a review of enterprise data management practices, identification of data duplicity, evaluation of governance, and an analysis of cloud strategies and their alignment with technology needs.
The scope further entails a cybersecurity and risk management review across infrastructure, applications, and data environments by identifying vulnerabilities and evaluating the overall security posture. Financial sustainability is to be assessed by analyzing technology-related financial performance, cost forecasting, and opportunities for strategic growth, such as increasing participation from Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs).
