SUMMARY

RFP for developing enterprise technology and operational taxonomy, including architecture, inventory, mapping, and taxonomy management for the City of Georgia.

DESCRIPTION

The City of Georgia is seeking a qualified vendor to develop a comprehensive enterprise technology and operational taxonomy. The selected partner will play a key role in translating organizational strategies into a robust enterprise architecture, providing future state conceptual architecture, a detailed roadmap, and supporting taxonomy documentation services.

Key responsibilities include creating an inventory of all technology software and applications and conducting a thorough review of the city's business functions, customer-facing services, and operational units. This process will require engagement across all departments through interviews, cross-department surveys, and workshops to ensure complete input and consensus. The vendor is expected to identify departmental points of contact and process owners, map all business functions and services, and document both network and server topology alongside technology functionality and annual costs.

Additional deliverables include a review and suggestions for the Technology Board's processes and the development of a taxonomy management plan to ensure long-term scalability and adaptability. The overall objective is to enable the city to make strategic operational decisions with a full understanding of the enterprise-wide landscape, ensuring interoperability, efficient data management, and a seamless digital experience for citizens.
