A city in California is seeking consulting services for the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing a comprehensive implementation plan, assisting with the evaluation and selection of an ERP vendor, and supporting contract negotiations with the preferred vendor. There is also an option for the consultant to provide client-side project management during the implementation phase.
Key responsibilities include developing test scripts to ensure that all functional requirements and system configurations are met, identifying and mitigating project risks, and monitoring data conversion and migration activities.
