This RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide an enterprise baggage handling system, including predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, operational support, inventory management, and reporting to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable system performance. The contract demands 24/7/365 coverage, including holidays, to maintain and report on system operations. The provider will operate under a performance-based contract and must comply with all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), while actively participating in regular performance reviews and corrective action planning.
Responsibilities include making recommendations to improve system reliability and enhance the passenger experience, as well as maintaining accountability through ongoing operational reporting and performance management. The service provider is also required to fully understand all aspects of the system related to inventory management, which covers strategies, tools, planning, controls, and processes for determining stock levels, tracking warranty periods, and quickly procuring and managing spare parts, including emergency requirements. Reporting on parts usage and ensuring all required inventory is properly managed will also be a key aspect of the engagement. The initial contract period is one year.
