Port Of Seattle
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected vendor will provide an Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP) solution that enables a contactless inspection process using auto-capture cameras and biometric facial comparison technology to facilitate identity verification, citizenship status confirmation, law enforcement vetting, and record creation of border crossings. The solution must include agency-approved software and hardware (including tablets and supporting stands/stations), as well as system implementation services such as installation, integration with the Traveller Verification Service (TVS), Mobile Device Management (MDM), comprehensive testing, training, and ongoing product support.
Vendors must deliver, install, integrate, and support passenger-facing biometric cameras and related equipment, ensuring the technology is operational upon deployment. The system should offer clear, user-friendly instructions and visual feedback to guide travelers through the capture process. Both fixed and portable deployments must be supported, with equipment options for fixed power or battery operation. Peripheral devices are to be installed as part of the initial implementation, while the Port will manage future peripheral installations post system hand-off.
EPP devices must utilize port-approved and port-provided networks, maintaining separation from agency systems for enhanced security. The contract will have a one-year duration. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled, and all questions must be submitted by the specified deadline.
