DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Dahlonega, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide engineering services for improvements to its water and sewer systems. Required tasks include conducting topographic surveys to support engineering and construction efforts, ecological and environmental permitting encompassing biology, NEPA, USACOE, and EPD activities, and water resource planning to address watershed concerns and projections for water and wastewater demand.
Additional responsibilities involve hydraulic modelling for capacity analysis and flow monitoring, conceptual and preliminary engineering studies, and strategies to enhance system resiliency and redundancy. The selected vendor will help ensure continuity of service during emergency events, expand water system capacity, and strengthen long-term water supply reliability.
