The government authority in Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive engineering services to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of municipal operations. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering professional engineering support across activities such as development review, permit processing, project management, and the execution of various engineering functions essential for city initiatives.
Key responsibilities include the evaluation of site plans for commercial, industrial, and residential projects, analysis of grading and drainage plans, review of utility plans related to water, sewer, and storm drainage, and assessment of traffic studies and transportation improvements. The firm will also handle the preparation of review comments, participation in meetings with applicants, and the development of project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Additional tasks involve coordinating design and construction administration activities, reviewing contractor submittals, managing change orders, conducting inspections, and preparing project closeout documentation.
Specialized analytical tasks may include hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for drainage systems, pavement and infrastructure condition assessments, water and sewer system evaluations, as well as environmental compliance and asset management planning.
