The government authority in Palm Springs, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive engineering services. The scope of work includes full-service architectural design, encompassing programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, permitting, and preparation of construction documents.
The selected firm will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams with specialties in structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), fire protection, landscape architecture, environmental services (including clearance, geotechnical services, utility research, survey/geophysical, hazardous waste testing and reporting, remediation), as well as both destructive and non-destructive exploratory demonstrations and other required specialty consultants. Additional responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, facility condition assessments, and space planning analyses.
The vendor will also provide architectural services for historic structures, addressing research, evaluation, preservation, and adherence to applicable historic standards. The contract will span two years.
