Engineering Plan Check, Surveying, Geotechnical and Inspection Services

The City of Calabasas, CA is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive range of engineering plan check, surveying, geotechnical, and inspection services. The selected vendor will support municipal operations by reviewing developer applications and submittals for completeness, evaluating engineering quantity estimates and costs, and assessing geological and geotechnical reports relevant to city projects.

Additional responsibilities include conducting land surveying and preparing maps, easements, or legal descriptions, as well as assisting with the development and implementation of engineering design standards and guidelines. The contractor will review engineering plans for consistency with existing and planned developments and analyze relevant studies, such as sewer, traffic, and environmental impact documents. Special inspection services for specialty constructions—such as soil nail wall systems or specialized welding—may also be required.

This contract is anticipated to have a three-year duration and is suited for firms with proven expertise in municipal engineering, surveying, and geotechnical services.
