The government authority in Groveland, Florida is seeking qualified firms to provide engineering design services for a range of new infrastructure projects and upgrades. The scope of work includes the design of a new master lift station at the existing northern Sunshine location, as well as a new reclaimed water storage tank and pump station. Vendors will be responsible for identifying and evaluating alternatives to meet projected flow and treatment requirements.
Additional services required include conducting surveys of project areas to indicate topography and fixed improvements, delivering environmental assessments regarding wetlands and any threatened or endangered species, and developing a comprehensive master plan for site and facility buildout. The contract also covers rapid infiltration basin evaluation, miscellaneous facility improvements, and upgrades to the existing SCADA system. The selected firm will enter into a five-year contract to support the city's infrastructure development and upgrades.
