The government authority in Montpelier, Vermont, is seeking qualified engineering consultants to support local municipalities with a range of transportation improvement projects. Selected consultants will provide At-the-Ready (ATR) engineering and design services in accordance with the Municipal Assistance Section (MAS) Project Development Process.
The scope of services includes conducting scoping studies, engineering investigations, surveys, hydraulic analyses, environmental permitting, right-of-way identification and acquisition, and utility relocation. Consultants will also be responsible for developing construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and providing construction bid services, including preparation of bid packages and bid analyses. Additionally, design engineering support will be required during the construction phase.
Potential projects include roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, intersections, safety projects, bridge and culvert replacement and maintenance, and transportation alternatives. All interested parties are required to submit their questions by February 13, 2026.
