The government authority in Lemon Grove, California is seeking engineering and design services for a street improvement project. The selected consultant will be responsible for completing the design of street improvement plans for a specified street, selected through an extensive community and stakeholder engagement process. The scope includes preparation of a final concept design to the 100% completion phase, enabling the development of comprehensive plans, specifications, and final construction cost estimates.

Specific tasks involve reviewing available records, performing field verification, surveying, and preparing conceptual and final drawings. The consultant will be required to evaluate current traffic conditions, collect data for traffic calming considerations, and conduct extensive research to obtain and review all utility documents within the project area. Adequate design surveys must be performed to ensure thorough and accurate plans and specifications are developed.

Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 26, 2026. An optional pre-proposal conference is scheduled for March 24, 2026.
